New Location: We are very excited to have our adoption portion of the dogathon [TM] in its new home of Soleri Plaza. This amazing new space will be at the heart of our event with local vendors as well as many adoption / shelter orgs that wish to participate.  Each organization has their own rules and requirements and patrons must follow all guidelines upon choosing a dog.

The goal: The adoption portion of the dogathon™ is to find 25 + dogs a happy home + increase rescue awareness. Our unique way to do this is by having some of  the dogs in our charity parade [TM] to preview as well as our fashion show featuring Oh My Dogs [ruffs to riches] program where they take a shelter dog and give it a complete adoption make over with grooming and new wardrobe.

How the adoption works:

March 3rd: dogathon™ will be having a charity parade™in the center of Scottsdale at Soleri Bridge & Plaza + Southbridge + The Waterfront. In that parade there will be different sections of people walking for charity & a “adoption section” where the 25 + dogs will walk with a number on them [1-30]. Viewers will write down the numbers of the dogs they prefer and wish to adopt.

After the parade: there will be a dog adoption grotto on the NEW Soleri Plaza- where people can adopt the dog want. There may be some dogs for adoption on our event Nov 1st, but our majority will be available following the parade.

HOW DO I ADOPT?
1) Come to the charity parade™ on Saturday March 3rd in Scottsdale.
2) Stop by Adoption booth for sheet of adoption rules + guidelines
3) View all dogs in the parade/fashion show and write down numbers of dogs of interest.
4) Have your questionnaire filled out so they can find a dog that suites your lifestyle.
5) Follow the adoption procedure of agency from dog you have chosen.
6) Find your dog following the parade and you saved a life!
